A factory manager with a mechanical engineering background is a management professional responsible for overseeing a factory’s operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production by applying their mechanical engineering expertise to production processes, quality, and technical challenges. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams and resources to meet production targets and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adhering to the preventive maintenance schedule of production equipment
    • Inspection of production equipment to ensure proper operation and recording of observations in the malfunction report
    • Effective and timely response to mechanical failures for problem resolution
    • Coordination – inspection – repair of equipment
    • Installation of new machinery
    • Recording and maintaining logs related to machine repair, maintenance, and spare parts usage

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment and/or factory with a production line
    • Holder of a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
    • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
    • Proficiency in Greek and English
    • Dynamic personality with strong organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Benefits:

  • Monthly gross salary: €3.000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 13th salaries
  • 14th salary (83.33% of the regular salary)
  • 6% Pension Fund after completing one year with the company
  • 21 days of annual leave (including Easter, Christmas, and 3 weeks in August when the company is closed)
  • Work Monday – Friday (38 hours per week),
  • Loyalty Card after completing 6 months
