HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER – LIMASSOL

HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER

We are looking to hire a HEALTH & SAFETYENGINEER on behalf of our client   to implement, and maintain safety systems to protect employees, facilities, and the environment from hazards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:

Analyze worksites, processes, and equipment to identify potential hazards and assess their risks.

  • Developing and Implementing Safety Programs:

Create and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Inspecting and Auditing:

Inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards and identify areas for improvement.

  • Investigating Accidents and Incidents:

Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop preventative measures.

  • Training and Education:

Conduct safety training for employees on various aspects of health and safety, including hazard awareness, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that the organization is in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate safety information to management and employees, collaborate with other departments, and work with external agencies as needed.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze data on accidents, injuries, and near-misses to identify trends and improve safety performance.

        Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., industrial engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering) is typically required.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations:

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the industry.

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop solutions.

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and work collaboratively with others.

  • Proficiency in Safety Software and Tools:

Familiarity with safety management software, risk assessment tools, and other relevant technologies.

Benefits:

  • The Company offers an attractive remuneration package, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Location: Limassol
  • SALARY €1.400 – €1.700 NET(depending on experience and skills)

13th Salary

  • 5-days/week
  • 21 days annual leave
