BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – SALES EXECUTIVE PERSON   (BDS 9872176LI) LIMASSOL 

A Logistics Sales Executive’s job description involves selling freight and logistics services, identifying and qualifying leads, maintaining and growing customer relationships, and negotiating contracts to meet revenue targets. Key responsibilities include developing customized transportation solutions, acting as a primary contact for clients, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and resolving customer issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Researching potential customers and actively identifying new sales opportunities through various channels, including networking and cold-calling.
  • Sales and Solution Development: Promoting the company’s transportation and logistics services, and developing tailored solutions to meet specific client shipping needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers by acting as a key point of contact and providing ongoing support.
  • Sales & Contract Negotiation: Closing sales deals, negotiating shipping contracts, and achieving sales targets and quotas.
  • Internal Coordination: Working with internal departments, such as operations and logistics, to ensure the timely and efficient execution of customer orders and resolve any logistical challenges.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Preparing sales reports, tracking progress, and providing insights into market trends and competitor activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Sales and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Logistics Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industries is typically required.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals, with skills in lead generation, account management, and closing deals.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and quickly learn new processes and technologies.
  • Proactive and Driven: An aggressive, competitive, and proactive approach with a strong bias for action.
