JUNIOR CIVIL ENGINEER /SITE ENGINEER

A Civil Engineer assists senior staff in designing, planning, and overseeing infrastructure projects by creating CAD drawings, performing site inspections, calculating estimates, ensuring compliance, and preparing documentation, for applying engineering principles with close supervision.
Key Responsibilities
-Design & Drafting: Create and revise plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD for site grading, utilities, and structures.
-Site Work: Conduct field inspections, gather data, perform surveys, test materials, and monitor construction quality/safety.
-Project Support: Assist senior engineers with planning, cost estimations, material requirements, and preparing reports.
-Collaboration: Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients, ensuring adherence to regulations.
-Documentation: Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and records.
Typical Tasks
-Checking designs for accuracy and compliance.
-Performing engineering calculations for site development.
-Attending project meetings.
-Responding to citizen inquiries about public works projects.
Necessary Skills
-Technical: CAD software (AutoCAD,), surveying tools, structural analysis, soil mechanics.
-Soft Skills: Teamwork, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, attention to detail, report writing.
