Import Operations Executive

Mansystems (www.mansystems.org ), one of the leading companies as consulting Firm, operating in Cyprus and 104 countries globally, is seeking for a Import Operations Executive to join our client structure.

Qualification Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics and Transportation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven work experience in import operations and purchasing. (Experience in a similar position in a company with food products will be preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of software programs such as SAP Business One, etc. will be considered additional qualifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Proven knowledge of import requirements, import concepts, rules and regulations customs documents, and pre-dispatch materials.
• Strong organizational skills – able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, planning and managing various projects and activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with numbers and data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Able to manage time effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process orders to overseas suppliers based on company needs.
• Require, acquire and evaluate pricing quotes from shipping agents for various shipments imports.
• Receive and check order confirmations from overseas suppliers.
• Communicate with local shipping agents to resolve problems.
• Schedule and book containers for shipment.
• Communicate with overseas suppliers to schedule or expedite order receipts and handle deficiencies, delays, and other issues.
• Communicate with customs brokers for the import process, arrange all necessary documentation, and make sure that the customs clearance is done in time.
• Monitor the progress of orders and deliveries until they arrive at the port.
• Address issues in a timely and professional manner.
