Financial Controller
(Accounting & Finance)

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accurate recording of all financial transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries within the accounting system.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly closing processes for the Group companies, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
- Prepare meaningful financial analyses and management reports, including profit margins, project costing, segmented revenues, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead the Group’s financial planning and control activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Monitor and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts to support the Company’s strategic and operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements while maintaining robust internal controls and governance procedures.
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and working capital.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior management by providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business planning, investment decisions, and long-term growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or financial control roles.
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller will be considered a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to prepare and present financial analyses and management reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, tax compliance, and ERP/accounting systems (such as Oracle, Easysoft, or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Dynamic personality with a strong team-oriented approach, process-driven mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
