CIVIL ENGINEER – PROJECT MANAGER

A Civil Engineering Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, water systems) by managing scope, budget, schedule, and resources, coordinating teams (engineers, architects, contractors), ensuring quality/safety, handling contracts/permits, and communicating with stakeholders from start to finish. Their core role design and construction, ensuring projects meet objectives on time and within budget.
Core responsibilities
-Planning & Scoping: Define project objectives, create work plans, timelines (Gantt charts), and break down tasks.
-Budget & Resource Management: Develop budgets, allocate resources (manpower, equipment, materials), and control costs.
-Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Lead project teams, coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and communicate with clients/stakeholders.
-Execution & Monitoring: Oversee daily operations, monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
-Quality & Safety: Implement quality control, review deliverables, and ensure health & safety protocols are followed.
-Contracts & Procurement: Negotiate contracts, manage vendors, and handle permits/licenses.
-Reporting: Prepare project status reports and documentation.
Essential Skills
-Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
-Knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and safety regulations.
-Proficiency with project management software and technical aspects of civil engineering.
-Proven work experience of at least 8 years
