ACCOUNTANT

The accountant supports the Accounting Department with various tasks including filing, data entry, and client/vendor communications. Responsibilities include processing transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and managing payroll. The accountant ensures timely payments, performs bank reconciliations, manages customer and supplier allocations, and prepares monthly journals. They also handle imports, exports, taxes, and contribute to job closing.

Key Responsibilities

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper accounting books and records on a daily basis.
• Issue invoices to customers and reconcile incoming payments.
• Posting invoices and prepare creditor reconciliations.
• Executing online payments in line with company’s procedures.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Produce ad-hoc accounting reports and analysis of accounting

information.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field e.g. Accounting, Finance,

Economics or/and part-qualified ACCA/ACA.

• Experience of at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of MS office, emphasis in Excel and outlook.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated, energetic with ability to work under pressure.

Remuneration – Benefits:

-2.300€ – 2.500€ Gross salary (based on previous experience)

-13^th and 14^th salaries

-21 days of annual leave
