Retail Chain Manager

Retail chain manager directs daily operations, drives sales targets, and manages staff and inventory. They ensure excellent customer service, oversee budgets, and implement corporate promotions. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and business acumen

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing, motivating and supporting retail client advisors and sales employees across different shops
  • Setting, monitoring and achieving shop sales targets, including targets relating to B2B partners and key accounts
  • Following up on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, including sales performance, conversion, average transaction value, stock availability and client service standards
  • Planning regular shop visits in different cities to review performance, presentation, staffing, stock and customer experience
  • Coaching sales teams on luxury selling, product knowledge, clienteling and brand storytelling
  • Coordinating new product launches, in-store activations, seasonal campaigns and promotional activities
  • Ensuring consistent visual presentation, merchandising standards and brand image across all shops and retail points
  • Working closely with management, suppliers and brand representatives to implement commercial plans and brand guidelines
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and performance evaluation of retail sales employees
  • Analysing sales reports and preparing recommendations to improve turnover, margins, stock rotation and team performance
  • Maintaining strong communication with shop teams, B2B partners and the office to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Performing other duties typically associated with retail chain management, sales operations and luxury brand representation

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in retail management, area management, sales management or a similar multi-store role
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate sales teams to achieve targets
  • Strong commercial understanding of KPIs, sales reports, stock performance and customer service standards
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent luxury fragrance brands with confidence and elegance
  • Hands-on approach, with willingness to travel regularly between shops in different cities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with retail teams, B2B partners, suppliers and management
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; ERP experience will be considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid driving licence is required
  • Experience in luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics or fragrance will be considered an advantage
