A store manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and sales performance. Key duties involve hiring, training, and supervising employees; managing stock levels and ordering products; ensuring exceptional customer service; and enforcing store policies and safety regulations. The role also includes financial management, such as budgeting, meeting sales targets, and preparing financial reports to ensure store profitability.
What will you be doing?
Staff and customer management
-Recruiting, hiring, and training: Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating store staff.
-Scheduling and supervision: Creates work schedules and supervises employees to ensure smooth daily operations.
-Performance and motivation: Sets performance goals, provides feedback, and motivates the team to meet sales targets.
-Customer service: Handles customer complaints and issues, and ensures high-quality customer service.
Operations and financials
-Daily operations: Manages the day-to-day running of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
-Inventory management: Oversees stock levels, conducts inventory counts, and places orders to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
-Sales and profitability: Implements sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue and meet financial targets.
-Financial management: Manages the store’s budget, monitors expenses, and analyzes financial data.
Compliance and maintenance
-Store appearance: Ensures the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
-Safety and security: Enforces health and safety regulations and implements loss prevention measures.
-Policy enforcement: Ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed by staff.
Requirements:
-3-5+ years of experience in retail
-Confidence to led teams and be trusted to take full control of the store
-Fluency in Greek and English, both written and oral
-Organized, sharp, and fluent in Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word.
Benefits:
-2.000€ – 2.500€ gross Salary + €4,000 bonus for the first target and €4,000 bonus for the second target
